Introduction

MeetHere App is a social application software (hereinafter referred to as "MeetHere App") provided to users (hereinafter referred to as "you") by Wuhan Weilang Jihua Network Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "MeetHere"). We provide you with functions such as "stranger matching, chat" through MeetHere App, and we may also provide you with other products and/or services now or in the future (hereinafter referred to as "MeetHere products and/or services or these products and/or services"). We formulate the "MeetHere App Personal Information Protection Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") in accordance with relevant laws and regulations such as the "Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China" to protect the security of your personal information.

All MeetHere products and/or services are subject to this Policy. This Policy describes the purposes, methods, scope, retention period, and information security protection measures for processing your personal information during the process of providing you with MeetHere products and/or services, as well as the ways and procedures for you to exercise the rights stipulated by law.Please note that MeetHere does not use cookies or similar technologies to track your personal information.Please read this Policy carefully in conjunction with our "MeetHere App User Service Agreement" and use MeetHere products and/or services only if you agree to the content of this Policy. 1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We will collect and use your personal information in accordance with the principles of legality, legitimacy, necessity, and integrity, based on the purposes described in this Policy. If we intend to use your personal information for other purposes not stated in this Policy, or collect your personal information for other specific purposes, we will inform you in a reasonable manner and obtain your consent again before such use.

1.1. Personal Information You Voluntarily Provide During the Process of Using the Products and/or Services

1.1.1. In order to realize our basic business functions, we need to collect the following personal information from you. If you refuse to provide it, we will be unable to provide you with the corresponding services.Please note: For any content you upload or publish on MeetHere App that contains personal information of others, please ensure that you have obtained the consent of the personal information subject; if it contains sensitive personal information of others, please ensure that you have obtained separate consent from the personal information subject.

(1) Account Registration, Login, and Verification

When you register a MeetHere account in the MeetHere App, you need to provide us with the following information to complete the registration:

1) Your mobile phone number and SMS verification code: We will send an SMS verification code to the mobile phone number you provided to verify your identity. If you do not provide the SMS verification code you received, registration will fail, and you will be unable to register and continue using this product and/or service.Please note that the mobile phone number you provide will serve as your user account for subsequent use of the MeetHere App and as your user identity credential for logging into this product.

2)Password Information: You can also set a login password for your account. This information is not mandatory. You have the right to choose to log in using your mobile phone number and password or only via mobile verification code.

3)Third-Party User Information: If you choose to log in using a third-party user account, you agree that we will collect your WeChat nickname, avatar, and/or Apple username, and email name, as per your selection.

4) Gender and Nickname: We will provide gender matching services based on the gender information you provide. If you do not provide such information, we will perform random matching for you.

When you complete the registration process by providing the above information and obtain a MeetHere account, it is deemed that you have successfully logged into the MeetHere App and remain logged in. To protect the security of your account, you agree that we will process your account information for risk control purposes. Additionally, to facilitate public supervision for the public interest, you understand and agree that we will display the Internet Protocol (IP) address attribution information on your account homepage, showing the corresponding provincial information within China and the corresponding country (region) information outside China, based on network operator data. Please understand that this information will not disclose your detailed address.

If you need to log out and log in again, you need to enter your mobile phone number and then enter the login password set during registration or choose to receive an SMS verification code to complete the login. You can also choose to log in via the "One-Click Login" function. Based on our cooperation with communication operators and related third parties, when you use the "One-Click Login" function, with your consent, we will use the functions provided by the operator and related third parties to use the mobile phone number in your device as your registration and login account, exempting it from password or dynamic verification code verification, providing you with convenient registration and login services. For detailed information about the collection of your personal information in this way, please refer to Section 1.5 of this Policy. If you do not wish to use the "One-Click Login" function, you can register and log in to the MeetHere App in other ways.

(2) Password Recovery

When you need to recover your password, you need to provide the mobile phone number you used for registration and the SMS verification code you received, to verify your identity. After verification, you need to set a new password to replace the old one so that you can log in to the MeetHere App the next time you choose the mobile number and password login method.

(3) Chat and Matching Functions

You can communicate with other users through the "Stranger Matching" or "Chat" functions provided in the MeetHere App.

When you enable the "Close Friends Diary" function or use location-related matching functions, we will request to use your geolocation information to match nearby friends. If you refuse to authorize location permissions or turn off "Close Friends Diary", we will not perform matching for you. You can turn off this function anytime in "Top right corner avatar" - "Close Friends Diary Settings".

Please understand that, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we will use the text information you send and the images you record/upload for content legality and compliance review and minor protection, and we will retain this content as evidence for user complaints and reports. If you do not wish to provide the above information, you will be unable to use the corresponding functions.

(4) Search Function

When you use the "Search" function in this product and/or service, you need to provide us with the keyword information you input, which we use to display the content you need. If you do not wish to provide the above information, please do not use the search function.

(5) Feedback

If you have any feedback regarding this product and/or service, you can provide feedback in the MeetHere App via "Top right corner avatar" - "Feedback". You need to provide your description of the opinion and upload supporting photos to help us understand the issues you raised and find corresponding solutions. In order to respond to your feedback in a timely manner, you need to provide us with your mobile phone number so that we can contact you promptly.

1.2. Personal Information We Actively Collect During the Process of Providing Products and/or Services to You

Subject to compliance with laws and regulations, in order to ensure the security of your account and provide you with better services, we will collect and use the following information generated during your use of MeetHere products and/or services:

1.2.1. Device Information

To ensure necessary adaptation between the MeetHere App and your mobile device, provide you with a secure and trustworthy product and usage environment, and ensure the secure operation of the MeetHere App, when you use the MeetHere App, according to the specific permissions you grant during software installation and use, we will collect your device model, device identifier (including Device ID/IMEI/Android ID /IDFA/IDFV/OPEN UDID/GUID/OAID/MEID, Advertising ID, SIM card phone number, IMSI, ICCID, device serial number), MAC address information (including phone MAC address and Bluetooth MAC address), device sensor information, and information on running processes. We collect this information to help us with bug analysis, anti-cheating, anti-black market production, and other security protection work, to ensure your normal use of this product and/or service, improve and optimize our product experience, and protect your account security. At the same time, except as otherwise expressly agreed in this Policy, we will not provide your device information to any third party, but we cannot guarantee that other third parties will not obtain your device information through other means and combine it with other information to identify you personally. For any losses caused thereby, you shall claim compensation from such third parties. The above device information is basic information collected to provide services. If you do not want the above device information to be collected by us, it may result in our inability to provide you with normal services.

1.2.2. Log Information

When you use MeetHere products and/or services, we will collect log information necessary for basic services, including only App crash reports and network connection status. We collect the above information to better maintain and optimize this product and/or service and provide you with a better user experience.

1.2.3. Geolocation Information

When you agree to enable your location permission, we will collect your geolocation information to match and inform you that friends are nearby, or to match you with nearby users. If you refuse our collection of such information, the aforementioned related functions will not work properly, but it will not affect your use of other functions of the MeetHere App.

1.3. System Permissions Invoked by the MeetHere App

As mentioned above, to provide you with MeetHere products and/or services, we may need to use system permissions on your device (excluding those invoked by third parties we integrate) to collect relevant personal information. Although we have covered this in the previous sections, this section will summarize and organize all system permissions used by the MeetHere App to present them to you in a more systematic, complete, and transparent manner. You can choose whether to authorize us to use the relevant permissions on your device. If you do not authorize us to use the relevant permissions, it may result in some services being unavailable, but it will not affect your use of other functions of the MeetHere App.

1.3.1. Photo Album and Storage Permission

When you agree to enable this permission, we will use the photo album reading and storage functions on your device. This function will be used for you to upload text, images, and other content from your device, and to cache text and image content generated during your use of MeetHere products and/or services. Please note that we do not automatically read the stored content of your local photo album; we only obtain image data after you agree to enable this permission and actively select the corresponding picture in the photo album. If you refuse this authorization, the aforementioned functions will not work properly.

1.3.2. Camera Permission

When you agree to enable this permission, we will use the camera shooting function on your device. This function will be used to implement the photo-taking function and collect and recognize the image information captured or recorded during the implementation of the above functions. If you refuse this authorization, the aforementioned functions will be unavailable.

1.3.3. Geolocation Permission

When you agree to enable this permission, we will collect your geolocation information to match and inform you that friends are nearby, or to match and recommend nearby users to you. If you refuse such authorization, the above functions cannot be realized.

1.3.4. Device Information Access Permission

When you agree to enable this permission, to protect your account and login security, we will collect your corresponding device information to optimize the user experience, conduct security checks, identify whether it is a commonly used device, and check device binding status. Your refusal of this authorization will result in your inability to use this product and/or service normally.

1.3.5. Network Access and Network Status Permission

When you agree to enable this permission, our APP can connect to the network. At the same time, for the purpose of risk control and service provision, we can also monitor network changes and prompt users about the current network environment. Your refusal of this authorization will result in your inability to use this product and/or service normally.

1.4. Please note that since we provide instant messaging functions, to ensure that you can normally receive client message push notifications when the MeetHere App is closed or running in the background, we or the integrated third-party message push service providers need to use self-starting capabilities. Therefore, there may be self-starting behavior of the MeetHere App through system wake-up at a certain frequency, but this is necessary to ensure message delivery.

1.5. Your Personal Information We Obtain from Third Parties

We may collect and use your personal information from third parties (our partners) within the scope of your consent. We guarantee that we will process your personal information in accordance with the contracts signed with third parties and relevant laws and regulations. At the same time, please read the personal information protection policies and user agreements of such third parties in detail. If you refuse third parties to collect and use your personal information when providing services, it may result in your inability to use some MeetHere products and/or services.

1.6. Exceptions to Obtaining Consent

According to laws and regulations, in the following circumstances, the collection and use of your personal information do not require your consent:

(1) Necessary for concluding or performing a contract to which you are a party;

(2) Necessary for performing statutory duties or legal obligations;

(3) Necessary for responding to public health emergencies, or protecting the life, health, and property safety of natural persons in emergency situations;

(4) Processing personal information within a reasonable scope for implementing news reporting, public opinion supervision, and other acts for the public interest;

(5) Processing personal information disclosed by individuals themselves or already legally disclosed within a reasonable scope in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law;

(6) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.

2. How We Delegate Processing, Share, Transfer, and Disclose Your Personal Information

2.1. Delegated Processing

To provide you with more comprehensive and better products and services, certain functions may be provided by our technical service partners. We may delegate partners to process certain aspects of your personal information. For companies, organizations, and individuals to whom we delegate the processing of your personal information, we will clearly require in the cooperation agreements we sign with them that the partners only process your personal information in accordance with our requirements, the provisions of this Policy, and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures, and we will supervise their personal information processing activities. We will delegate third-party SDK providers that provide technical services to process your personal information. Such third-party providers will process your personal information when you use the MeetHere App, or when you switch the MeetHere App to the background or silent state, as per their needs.

2.2. Sharing

Unless based on legal provisions or one or more of the following circumstances, we will not share your personal information with any third-party company, organization, or individual:

(1) Based on a request you have made yourself, or with your prior explicit consent or authorization;

(2) We may share your personal information externally in accordance with legal provisions, litigation dispute resolution needs, or as required by administrative or judicial authorities according to law;

(3) Sharing with partners: To provide you with more comprehensive and high-quality products and services, some of our services will be provided by partners. We may share certain aspects of your personal information with partners to provide better customer service and user experience. We will only share your personal information for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and clear purposes, and will only share the personal information necessary to provide the services. We will take reasonable security control measures for the software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs) used by partners to obtain information to protect data security. At the same time, in the cooperation agreements we sign with partners, we will clearly require them to comply with relevant laws and regulations to protect and process your personal information. We will require our partners not to use the shared personal information for any other purposes.

Please note: Such sharing partners are data controllers, obtaining your consent in their own name to process your personal information. Partners may have their own independent privacy policies and user agreements. We recommend that you read and comply with the third party's user agreement and privacy policy carefully. If you refuse our partners to collect the personal information necessary to provide services when providing services, it may result in your inability to use the corresponding services.

a) Third-party SDK partners.Please note that to ensure the stability of the push channel and guarantee timely message delivery, certain third-party SDK partners may have associated startup behaviors at a certain frequency, which is necessary to achieve the message push service.

b) Advertising partners. To help place advertisements or provide commercialization decision-making suggestions, improve the effective reach rate of advertisements, and better understand user needs, we will share your de-identified device information or user profile statistical information with advertisers and/or their authorized agents, advertising service providers, and advertising monitoring companies (collectively referred to as "Advertising Partners"). Without the aid of additional information, this information is difficult or impossible to associate with your real identity. To protect your information security, we will sign strict data security agreements with advertising partners.

c) Partners providing infrastructure, security monitoring, and other technical services. To improve the security of the MeetHere products and/or service system, protect account security, monitor account risks, record and analyze risk links, troubleshoot platform system issues and abnormal information, and conduct anti-fraud and anti-piracy, we may provide your mobile phone number, geolocation information, and login IP address to the technical service providers responsible for system construction, maintenance, management, and evaluation, to analyze the usage patterns of our services, measure service effectiveness, provide customer service, and conduct investigations.

Please note: You can actively publicize and share your relevant information to third-party platforms (such as WeChat friends/WeChat Moments/QQ, etc.) by using the functions provided by MeetHere products and/or services. In this case, the shared information will be spread instantly and widely. Once you have shared such information, it is difficult to ensure that when you need to delete the information, the information you shared is completely deleted on all internet platforms that have forwarded it. In some cases, even if you delete the information you shared from MeetHere products and/or services, such information may still remain in the publicly accessible domain, and may still be independently cached, copied, or stored by other users or third parties not associated with us and not under our control, and may be preserved by other users or such third parties in the publicly accessible domain.

2.3. Transfer

In principle, we will not transfer control of your personal information to other companies, organizations, or individuals, except in the following circumstances:

(1) Based on a request you have made yourself, or with your prior explicit consent or authorization;

(2) Transfer due to company merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation, or change of operating entity.

Please note: If a transfer is indeed necessary due to the above reasons, we will inform you of the name or title, contact information, processing purpose, processing method, and types of personal information of the recipient before the transfer, and will obtain your consent before the transfer, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.

2.4. Public Disclosure

In principle, we will not publicly disclose your personal information to society or the public, except based on a request you have made yourself, or with your prior explicit consent or authorization.

3. How You Manage Your Personal Information

3.1. Accessing/Copying or Correcting/Supplementing Your Personal Information

If your account is in normal use, you have the right to log in and access your MeetHere account at any time to view your personal information, including your account information and personal profile. If you find that the personal information we process about you is inaccurate or incomplete, or in other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations, you may correct or supplement your personal information. You can exercise such rights through the following paths:

(1) You can click on the "Top right corner avatar" to view or correct/supplement your nickname, avatar, background image, attraction tags, and other information;

(2) You can click on "Top right corner avatar - Account & Security" to view or correct/supplement your personal information such as nickname, gender, and password;

If you are unable to exercise the corresponding rights through the above paths, you can contact us through the contact information provided in Section 8 of this Policy. We will verify your identity and respond to your request in a timely manner, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations or agreed in this Policy.

3.2. Deleting Your Personal Information

If you wish to delete your other personal information, you can contact us through the contact information provided in Section 8 of this Policy. We will verify your identity and respond to your request in a timely manner, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations or agreed in this Policy.

Please note that you hereby agree that once a deletion request is responded to, your personal information will be deleted or anonymized, unless otherwise stipulated by laws, regulations, or normative documents.

Please note that we may not immediately delete the responsive information from the backup system, but will delete it when the backup system is updated.

3.3. Changing the Scope of Your Authorized Consent

Please note that for you to use MeetHere products and/or services normally, you need to enable relevant permissions on your device and/or provide basic personal information. If you wish to close the device permissions mentioned in Section 1.3 above, you can do so through the settings page on your device. If you wish to withdraw your previous authorization for corresponding functions within MeetHere products and/or services, you can do so through the settings page in MeetHere or the settings page on your device.

After you change the scope of your consent, we will no longer collect and use your corresponding personal information. However, please also understand that we will no longer be able to provide you with the corresponding products and/or services. You hereby agree that your act of changing the scope of authorization consent or withdrawing authorization consent will not affect our processing of your personal information based on your prior authorization consent.

3.4. Deregistering Your Account

You can click on "Top right corner avatar" - "Account & Security" - "Deregister Account" to request deregistration of your registered MeetHere account. We will deregister your account for you after verifying your personal identity information and confirming that you meet the deregistration conditions.

Please note that if you apply to deregister your account while it is in a normal state, after account deregistration, unless we are required to retain or store your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations or regulatory requirements, we will promptly delete your personal information or anonymize it. Please note that we may not immediately delete such information from the backup system, but will delete it when the backup system is updated. If you apply to deregister your account while it is under a penalty of account function restriction for 30 days or more, to meet relevant legal requirements, respond to potential complaints or legal disputes, and fulfill platform management obligations, after account deregistration, we will retain only your registered mobile phone number, violation records, penalty type, and penalty period until the penalty expires, in accordance with the principle of minimum necessity. After the penalty period expires, we will delete the above data. If you re-register using this mobile phone number during the penalty period, the new account registered successfully will continue to be subject to the penalty status (the deregistration time is included in the calculation of the penalty period) until the penalty period expires. After the penalty period expires, you can use the new account normally.

Your act of deregistering your account is irreversible. Once your account is deregistered, we will no longer collect your personal information. However, please also understand that we will no longer be able to provide you with the corresponding products and/or services. Therefore, we recommend that you consider carefully before choosing to deregister your account.

3.5. Rights of Close Relatives

Under circumstances stipulated by law, your close relatives may exercise the aforementioned rights of access, copy, correction, deletion, etc., regarding your relevant personal information, unless you have made other arrangements.

3.6. Responding to Your Above Requests

To realize the user rights described in Sections 3.1-3.4, you can click on "Top right corner avatar" - "Feedback", where we will summarize frequently encountered user problems and provide related solutions. To ensure security, we may first ask you to submit relevant proof to verify your identity before processing your request. For your request, we will generally complete verification and processing and provide you with a reply within 15 days of receiving your request.

For reasonable requests, we generally do not charge fees. We may refuse requests that are not directly related to your identity, or that are groundlessly repetitive, or that require excessive technical means (for example, require developing new systems or fundamentally changing current practices), that pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or that are impractical.

4. How We Store Your Personal Information

We will store the personal information we collect and generate from our operations in Mainland China, People's Republic of China, in our data centers within the territory of the People's Republic of China, unless cross-border transmission is permitted in accordance with applicable laws.

As the MeetHere App serves global users, personal information we collect outside Mainland China is stored in MeetHere's overseas data centers. In such cases, we will protect your personal information based on the requirements of this Policy and the data protection laws of the relevant jurisdictions.

We currently do not cross-border transfer information collected and generated from our operations in Mainland China, People's Republic of China. If we need to transfer personal information collected in Mainland China, People's Republic of China to other jurisdictions, we will comply with the requirements of relevant applicable laws, conduct data export security impact assessments, implement unified security protection measures, and obtain your consent, ensuring that all such transfers meet the requirements of locally applicable data protection laws.

We promise that, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations, or in cases where you request us to delete personal information in accordance with the law, the storage time for your personal information will be limited to the shortest time necessary to achieve the purpose for which you authorized its use.

If we partially or completely cease operations due to poor management or other reasons, unless otherwise stipulated by laws, regulations, or normative documents, or otherwise agreed by both parties, we will inform you of such circumstances, stop collecting your personal information, and simultaneously delete the collected personal information or anonymize it.

5. How We Protect Your Personal Information

We attach great importance to the security of your personal information. For this purpose, we have adopted industry-standard security technical measures and supporting organizational structure and management system protection measures at multiple levels to prevent your personal information from being leaked, damaged, misused, accessed, disclosed, or altered without authorization to the greatest extent possible, including:

5.1. Data Security Measures

In terms of data secure transmission, we have adopted cryptographic technologies such as Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, using HTTPS and other methods to prevent transmission links from being eavesdropped on or intercepted, to establish a secure private data environment and ensure data confidentiality and integrity; we also use Token technology to protect data security during its transmission, and use proper protection mechanisms to prevent data from malicious attacks; in addition, we will also take additional security protection measures such as encrypted storage for your information.

In terms of security control of data access and use, we have implemented strict data permission control mechanisms to monitor actions that process your personal information, to avoid unauthorized access and use of data. We regularly perform security scans on all interfaces of this product and take protective measures such as preventing malicious code and traffic attacks to prevent your personal information from encountering unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, man-made or accidental damage, loss, etc.

To protect your information security, if a user's personal information is incorrect, this product will, after strictly verifying and confirming the user's identity, allow the user to access, correct, or delete the relevant information (unless MeetHere is legally required to retain such personal information) as per the user's request.

We will take all reasonably feasible measures to ensure that irrelevant personal information is not collected. We will only retain your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, unless the retention period is extended within the scope permitted by law.

5.2. Data Security Organization and Management Measures

According to relevant regulatory requirements, we have established a department specifically responsible for personal information protection and appointed a personal information protection officer. We have also established relevant internal control management processes, following the principle of least privilege, strictly setting information access permissions for staff who may have access to your personal information, and controlling the scope of knowledge of personal information.

We have established internal regulations for the secure use of data, ensuring that the processing of your personal information in the collection, transmission, use, storage, transfer, destruction, and other links meets the security requirements of laws and regulations. According to relevant regulatory requirements, for staff who need to access personal information, we require them to obtain approval from the personal information protection officer or authorized management personnel, record access situations, and take technical measures to prevent illegal copying and downloading of personal information.

We organize employees to participate in security and privacy protection-related training and require them to complete the stipulated assessments to enhance their awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.

5.3. Security Incident Handling

To address potential risks such as personal information leakage, damage, and loss, we have established a dedicated emergency response team.
